B&W RacingBig-block powered Dodge Daytona Top Sportsman gets transmission and chassis updates

WATERDOWN, ONTARIO (February 9, 2011) – The car may look the same when it takes to the drag strip in Quick 32 Sportsman Series presented by NAPA Auto Parts competition this year, but the underneath of the B&W Racing Patio Passport 1994 Dodge Daytona is entirely new.

“The car will look the same,” said owner/driver Mike Wagg, but there will be all the difference under the car.”

After a racing incident last year, Wagg and fellow owners Dave Bell and Paul Delicata decided to rebuild the chassis of the Top Sportsman entry, and Wagg added the car is just about complete.

“We just got the car back,” he said. “It’s now ready for powder-coating the chassis and then getting the body painted.”
