Series Rules and Regulations
Revised:
- Teams participating with the Series will be subject to a MANDATORY Technical / Safety Inspection at EACH event before entering competition.
- The Series will coordinate the Technical / Safety Inspection with venue Officials at each event.
- Competitor Parking / Registration and Technical / Safety Inspection will take place on the Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for those teams participating in the Annual Test & Tune Program.
- Teams NOT participating in the Annual Test & Tune Program, the Competitor Parking / Registration and Technical / Safety Inspection will take place on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. and from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
At Toronto Motorsports Park:
- All competitors must have a valid NHRA Competition License, Membership and Chassis Certification.
- Competitors must comply with NHRA Top Dragster / Top Sportsman / Advance ET Safety Rules and Regulations.

General
- Competitors must comply with NHRA Top Dragster / Top Sportsman / Advance ET Safety Rules and Regulations at TMP and IHRA Top Dragster / Top Sportsman / Advance ET Safety Rules and Regulations at the Grand Bend Motorplex and US 131 Motorsports Park.
- Maximum dial-in is 7.95-seconds quarter-mile and 5.10-seconds eighth-mile.
- Competitors may dial quicker between rounds; may only dial a maximum of .20-second slower than their qualified time.
- Lane choice – low dial
- Lane choice – Top Dragster versus Top Sportsman final – coin flip at first Drivers Meeting and alternate lane choice at each event after that.
- Series will compete on a Sportsman ladder.
- Handicapped start system utilizing a .5-second full tree.
- Qualifying will consist of three sessions on two-day events and two sessions on one-day events.
- Once qualifying has concluded and a ladder has been established, pairings will not be changed. However, should a qualified vehicle and racer be unable to make the first round of eliminations, an alternate will be inserted in his or her place.
- All first-round points will remain with the qualified racer. Alternates will not be eligible for any round points, regardless of how far they advance past round one.
- If an event is postponed due to weather or other conditions prior to the start of eliminations, it is necessary that the qualified driver be in attendance and participates at the rescheduled date to be eligible for all points and awards.
- If an event is postponed due to weather or other conditions, the teams elimination round runs at the rescheduled date will count as qualifying for the current event.
- Each entry must have a current NHRA or IHRA Competition License in the ET range of the vehicle utilized during competition (NHRA supersedes IHRA).
- Engine diapers mandatory.
- Parachutes required on all machines that exceed run of 150 mph on 1/4 mile or 125 mph on 1/8 mile. Cars running 200 mph in the 1/4 mile must have two parachutes. Drag chutes must have their own independent mounting bracket (a grade 8 sleeved bolt must be used) and must not be the same bracket as the shoulder harness (Competitors must comply with NHRA and IHRA Rule Book).
- Jacket and pants or suit meeting SFI Spec 3.2A/15, gloves meeting SFI Spec 3.3/5, and boots or shoes meeting SFI Spec 3.3/5 mandatory.
- HELMET – for all Top Sportsman cars, a full-face Snell M2000, M2005, M2010, SA2000, SA2005, SA2010, SFI 31.2A, or 41.2A helmet mandatory; shield mandatory (goggles prohibited).

- A head and neck restraint device/system meeting SFI 38.1 mandatory and must display a valid SFI label. At all times that the driver is in the race vehicle, from the ready line until the vehicle is on the return road, driver must properly utilize an SFI 38.1 head and neck restraint device/system, including connecting the helmet as required for full functionality of the device. The head and neck restraint device/system, when connected, must conform to the manufacturer’s mounting instructions, and it must be configured, maintained, and used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. Modification of the device is prohibited. An SFI 38.1 head and neck restraint device can be used with, or without, a neck collar; when a neck collar is not used, an SFI 3.3 head sock or SFI Spec 3.3 skirted helmet is required.
- Contestants must prominently display the Quick 32 Sportsman Series decals.
- Contestants will be supplied with series Hard Cards, please be prepared to show them at entry with proof of identification.
- In order to continue to reduce the risk and help keep Series events running efficiently, the Series introduced a starting-line dress code for its race teams at all events. All crew members are strongly encouraged to wear matching collared shirts. These uniform shirts are mandatory for all starting-line crew members in 2012.
- The series will provide an Official Starter that will control the starting line and the restricted area.
- The venues are required to supply an Ambulance and a total of two (2) EMS Emergency Medical Services Paramedics, (one (1) ACP-Advanced Care Paramedic and one (1) PCP-Primary Care Paramedic) and Firemen.
- Competitors and crewmembers must sign the Insurance Waiver when provided by the track and the track technical inspector will inspect the entries.
- ALL ENTRIES MUST COMPLETE THE TECHNICAL INSPECTION PROCEDURE PRIOR TO COMPETITION.
Annual Test & Tune
Six hours, quarter-mile, two prepped lanes, with an Ambulance and a total of two EMS Emergency Medical Services Paramedics, (one ACP-Advanced Care Paramedic and one PCP-Primary Care Paramedic) and Firemen.

Cost:
$600.00, plus HST per team / season
The cost to Non Registered (ANNUAL Test & Tune Program) Teams will be $200.00, plus HST per day.
Competitor Parking / Registration and Technical / Safety Inspection will take place on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and open on Friday at 8:00 a.m. for those teams participating in the Annual Test & Tune Program.

- Competition Points: Winner – 120, Runner-up – 100, Semi-finalist – 80, Quarter-finalist – 60, Eighth-finalist – 40, First round loser – 20
- Bonus Points: Entering all Events – 100
Note: Teams must complete Technical Inspection to receive Entry and Bonus Points.
Ties will be broken as follows:
- Most event win points.
- Most event runner up points.
- Most round points.
- Most qualifying points.

Note: Fee includes Car and Driver, and four crew members at each event.
Terms: $299.00 by November 10, 2011

Note: $150 Car & Driver Entry Fee will be refunded to those teams that miss an event or break before making a qualifying attempt.
Payment Plan
$299.00 by November 10, 2011. Plus six equal installments (post-dated cheques) of $309.32 on the 10th of each month, starting December 10, 2011 and ending May 10, 2012.
Late Fee – $50 per month (EFFECTIVE FEBRUARY 1, 2012)
Co-drivers (one) are allowed; the Series Membership Fee for a co-driver is $160.00, plus HST and must be registered by May 19, 2012. The driver that starts the race must finish the race.
Non-Point Award Fee
Car and Driver Entry Fee $200.00 plus $26.00 HST = $226.00
Crew Entry Fee $50.00 plus $6.50 HST = $56.50
