Impact Canopies returns as the Preferred Canopy Supplier to the PMRA, Quick 32 Sportsman Series, and PBSS for upcoming season

CAYUGA, ONTARIO (May 5, 2012) – Impact Canopies Inc. has returned for 2012 as the Preferred Canopy Supplier for The Pro Modified Racing Association, the Quick 32 Sportsman Series, and the Pro Bike & Sled Series, providing a strong and professional presence at event race tracks.

Racers and fans ready for 2012 opening day of drag race action

PMRA, Quick 32 Sportsman Series, and PBSS take to track May 18-20 for Victoria Day Weekend Challenge at TMP’s Cayuga Dragway

CAYUGA, ONTARIO (April 30, 2012) – The teams have been working hard during the off-season and the fans are ready for the opening round in the 2012 Pro Modified Racing Association, the Quick 32 Sportsman Series, and the Pro Bike & Sled Series.

Racers had spent the past few months updating, modifying, and everything else to get more power from their racecars. Along with several new teams in the three drag race series, many are returning for the starting race of the year, the Victoria Day Weekend Challenge to be held May 18-20 at the Cayuga Dragway of Toronto Motorsports Park.

Qualifying sessions will take place Saturday, May 19, with elimination rounds scheduled to begin Sunday, May 20.


Big City Sportswear continues as preferred uniform supplier for PMRA, Quick 32 Sportsman Series, and PBSS officials

ROCHESTER, NEW YORK (April 25, 2012) – Big City Sportswear will continue as the preferred uniform supplier for the Pro Modified Racing Association, the Quick 32 Sportsman Series, and the Pro Bike & Sled Series.

Drag race officials rely on two-way communication at events

TORONTO, ONTARIO (April 13, 2012) – Proper communications between officials is essential during a race weekend, and for 2012 Total Two-Way Radio has retuned as the official communications supplier for the Pro Modified Racing Association, the Quick 32 Sportsman Series, and the Pro Bike & Sled Series.

“We’re thankful and pleased to have Total Two-Way Radio on board with us once again,” stated Bruce Mehlenbacher, Director of Operations for all three drag racing series. “Our operations people are in constant communication and are able to perform their duties at one of our events much better with the help of the two-way radios.”

He added that race officials including the starter, spotters, announcer, control tower, staging, fire/safety/rescue, operations, and media personnel will be equipped with the Motorola professional series radios.
