Kevin Wicke honored for winning Quick 32 Sportsman Series title for 2010

NIAGARA FALLS, ONTARIO (November 13, 2010) – The Pro Modified Racing Association and the Quick 32 Sportsman Series presented by NAPA Auto Parts held its annual Night of Champions over the weekend.
Master of ceremonies Larry Satchell guided the full-to-capacity room proceedings at the Best Western Cairn Croft Hotel in Niagara Falls, Ontario Canada that rewarded the top drivers and teams in the two popular drag racing series.
Now in its second season, the Quick 32 Sportsman Series has grown in stature and car counts to become one of the top-running race series in Canada.
Capturing his second consecutive Quick 32 Sportsman Series title was Kevin Wicke of Stratford, Ontario.
“What can I say,” commented the driver of the K&K Racing Dodge Stratus. “We had a great year. I have the best team, and the car runs by itself.”

STRATFORD, ONTARIO (November 8, 2010) – With a another consistent and solid year, Kevin Wicke and the K&K Racing Team captured the 2010 Championship in the Quick 32 Sportsman Series presented by NAPA Auto Parts, taking back-to-back titles in the popular drag racing series.
Wicke and his team also took the 2009 Championship, and he said that he believes consistency and working with a devoted team is the reason for success.
“We had a good year, everything went well,” said Wicke. “Consistency is a very big factor in racing,” he continued. “We qualified well and went a bunch of rounds, and our car never let us down.”
Wicke drives a 2006 Dodge Stratus in the Series’ Top Sportsman class, which is comprised of 16 door cars for the elimination rounds. There are also 16 Top Dragsters which compete, and the final eliminator in each class is pitted against each other for an event champion.
