STRATFORD, ONTARIO (March 31, 2010) – The K&K Race Team won the inaugural Quick 32 Sportsman Point Award Series in 2009 and the Champions are anxious to defend their title in 2010.
With a very successful initial season, the Quick 32 Sportsman Series presented by NAPA Auto Parts will continue to be one of Canada’s most competitive drag racing series. There will be more teams and quicker fields, but the guys at K&K are up to the challenge.
Consistency was the key for the K&K Team and their Dodge Stratus in 2009 and they are looking for more of the same in 2010.
“We had a pretty good season but we definitely had a few breaks last year,” said team driver Kevin Wicke. “This year will be a much tougher Championship Point Award Series chase, and there will be more quality teams in the points.”

“I decided I wanted to run with the big boys,” said Moloughney, who will race in the Series’ Top Dragster class.
“I bought the dragster last year, and raced locally around here,” he continued. “But Jamie Bridge (another Quick 32 Sportsman Series competitor) talked about this, and I decided I wanted to be in with the competition.”
Moloughney has raced slower door cars, but the step up into the dragster is a new venture for him.

Smith is the main proponent behind the Can-Am Stock/Super Stock Series, which races during many weekend events that the Pro Modified Racing Association and Quick 32 Sportsman Series compete.
